Hi, I am trialing MBG atm, and would like to record insulin changes [dose changes] and idealy record changes to readings in a chart. Can this be done and what would be the best way to do this?

    Hi shrink3677,

The way to record this kind of information is via either “Events” or “Categories” (or both).

If your dosage changes not too frequently, your best option would be to record each dosage change as an event. To read more about events, click on the “Study readings” task, and then click on the “Events” tab, and then click on the “What are events?” link.

The advantage of using events to record this information is that the events will be displayed along the bottom of the chart, throughout the list of readings, and averages will be automatically calculated for the duration of the events.

If your dosage changes frequently (ie it could be different every day or every other day for example), the best option would be to record each day’s dosage along with your readings as a category. To read more about categories, click on the “Study readings” task, and then click on the “Categories” tab, and then click on the “What are categories?” link.

Categories are displayed alongside the list of readings (ie click on the “View readings” task to see this) and averages are calculated for all readings in a category.

    Hope this helps!
    Steve
