Downloaded Beta version, loaded okay and note the obvious changes to the printed document. Further to our earlier correspondence, is there still a chance that program may be upgraded in the future, such that the data files can reside on a server and over a LAN network be accessed by multiple users?

    .Hi Hardman,

It is not officially supported, but in the new version you can change the location of the data files, so it should be possible.

To do this, click on the “Change user” task (on the “Home” page). This will open the “Manage Users” dialog. Right-click on the user you want to move, and then click on “Move User…”. You are then prompted for the new location.

One thing to keep in mind is that the data file should not be accessed by multiple users simultaneously. From memory this is not something you needed?

Let me know how you get on. It should work, but isn’t something that I have tried or tested.

One more thing you could take a look at is the the new Online Locker feature. Click on the “Locker center” task (on the “Home” page) to read more. Basically it is an automated online backup, which you could use to keep two computers/user’s readings in sync.

Steve, Works a treat. We can bring up any user on any computer, with data files stored on server and subject to strictly regemented backup procedures.

Many thanks and hope other users can benefit.
