Manually Backup your Readings and Settings
All our software programs store readings in subfolders of your “My Documents” folder. If you have a regular backup procedure, please include this folder in the list of folders you backup.
The table below lists each program, and the name of its folder:
My Blood Pressure … “My BP”
My Weight Software … “My Weight”
My Blood Glucose… “My Blood Glucose”
My Peak Flow… “My PF”
My Body Temperature … “My Body Temperature”
My Cholesterol … “My Cholesterol”
My INR … “My INR”
My Blood Oxygen … “My Blood Oxygen”
To create a quick backup, you could follow the steps below:
- Shutdown the program if it is running. (Right-click on the program’s icon in your System Tray (near the Windows clock), and then click on “Shutdown (program name)”)
- Open the “My Documents” folder. (On most systems, you will have a “My Documents” or “Documents” folder on your desktop. Double-click on that folder to open it).
- Select the program’s subfolder in the list. (Single left-click)
-
- For Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000: Right-click on the program’s subfolder, then click “Send To”, then click “Compressed Zipped Folder”. Windows will create a new zip file in the “My Documents” folder.
- For Windows 98 and ME: Click on the “Edit” menu, then click on “Copy to Folder”. Choose the “My Documents” folder. Windows will copy all the files to a new folder.
