Tom Dent – white coat syndrome and anti-anxiety meds for high BP. Tom has had high blood pressure for a number of years, and finds that after being on a medication for a while, it becomes less effective. Tom also finds that he only records normal (120/80) readings after sitting for 15 minutes to an hour.

My Blood Pressure Medication
I am currently taking an enormous amount (IMO!) of drugs for my high blood pressure. My doctor has told me that if I keep monitoring my readings, and they stay low, I will be able to come off some of them soon.

2* 50mg Betaloc (metoprolol) per day
1* 8mg Coversyl (Perindopril) per day
