Can the software do this?
Yes, in the current version you can use the averaging features to do something similar.
The way to do this would be to enter the 2nd, 3rd and 4th readings as separate readings. Then click on the “View charts…” task and then click on the “Averages” tab. Select the “30 Minute Average” period link. This chart will now show a single data point created by averaging all readings entered within 30 minutes of each other.
If you click on the “Print report…” task while viewing this chart, it will be the chart that is printed in the report.
You can also get a printout of the averaged readings by clicking on the “Study readings..” task, and then clicking on the “Averages History” task. Again select the “30 Minute Average” period link. You will now see the averaged readings which can also be printed as a table.
